Hailey Kopp

Student

Hailey is an undergraduate at Barnard College pursuing a major in Neuroscience and Behavior and a minor in Feminist/Intersectional Science and Technology Studies (F/ISTS). She is interested in the intersectionality of science, social justice, and art, hoping to contribute to work that can improve policies and education initiatives within communities. Currently, Hailey is researching the role of perceived racial discrimination as a chronic stressor on memory systems in adolescents. Outside of the lab, she fosters her passion for science and art as Illustration Director for the only undergraduate neuroscience journal, Grey Matters Journal CU. Hailey also volunteers as a literacy tutor for Reading Partners, where she delivers individualized lessons to help elementary students master their literacy skills.
