Philip is a graduate of Columbia University and the Sciences Po Paris Dual BA Program, witha double major in Political Science and Cognitive Science and a minor in Computer Science. He is passionate about the intersection between the sciences (particularly neuro- and computer science) and public policy.
In the FAB lab, Philip focuses on how neuroscientific and psychological research can be used to inform public policy. As of late, he is especially invested in exploring how recent evidence demonstrating cognitive and neurological similarities between adolescents (individuals below 18 years old) and young adults (individuals from 18 up to 25 years old) can be used to extend juvenile legal protections to the latter group of people.
While not in the lab, Philip is an avid Aikido practitioner and enjoys working out in the gym.
